Hosting and Stuff

A Docker hosting panel, plus the boxes it runs on.

Public home for mrmpanel: sites, mail, DNS, and SSL on a fresh Linux VPS. The panel is free (MIT). The VPS is not — those links are how this site pays for itself.

What it is — and what this site is not

One job each: explain the panel, then set expectations about us.

What mrmpanel is

One Docker engine, Traefik in front, one container per site hostname. WordPress, Laravel, PHP, Node, and Python stacks. Optional mail (docker-mailserver + Roundcube), MariaDB/Postgres, and PowerDNS. Admin server overview, hosting plans/quotas, and per-domain email security — see docs.

Aimed at a fresh Alma/Rocky/RHEL 9–10 or Ubuntu 24.04 server. Do not drop it on a box that already runs Apache, Plesk, or Docker.

What this site is not

We are not a hosting company. We do not sell cPanel licenses. We do not take support tickets for your customers. The job here is: keep the installer honest, publish comparisons that are actually useful, and point you at a VPS that can run the panel.

Hestia vs mrmpanel

Traditional stack vs Docker-per-site. Pick for the job, not the logo.

Fresh boxes with root — pick one, wipe it if the experiment goes sideways.

Need a domain first? Ubuntu 24.04 guide covers DNS glue. Registrar: Namecheap.
